This policy explains what SuiteSearcher collects when you use suitesearcher.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legalese.
Account information. Your email address, and the display name and phone number you choose to add.
Alert preferences. The ships, regions, and suite types you follow, your discount threshold, and how often you want to hear from us. This tells us what to send you — and, in aggregate, what kinds of cruises our members care about.
Booking request details. When you ask us to book something, we store the cruise and cabin you selected, the price shown at the time, your phone number and preferred contact time, any notes you add, and the guest names and dates of birth you provide so the agent can complete the reservation.
Alert delivery records. Which alerts we generated for you and when we sent them, so we do not send duplicates and can tell whether the service is working.
Basic technical logs. Ordinary server logs, including IP address and request information, kept for security and debugging.
We do not collect or store payment card numbers.When you book, the agent takes your card directly over the phone and processes it through the cruise line's systems. Card details are never entered into or stored by SuiteSearcher.
We do not run advertising or analytics trackers. There are no third-party analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.
To send the alerts you asked for; to pass your booking request to an agent who can fulfill it; to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service; to contact you about your account or a request you submitted; and to understand in aggregate which ships, cabins, and price points our members respond to, so we can improve what we monitor and recommend.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Cordelie Travel Services. When you submit a booking request, the details of that request — including your contact information and the guest names you supplied — are sent to the agency so an agent can place the reservation.
The cruise line. To create a reservation, the agent must provide the guest details to Royal Caribbean, which then handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Service providers. Our hosting provider and the email service we use to deliver alerts and sign-in links. They process data on our behalf and only to provide those services.
When legally required. If we are compelled by valid legal process, or need to protect the rights and safety of our users or ourselves.
When you sign in, we store a sign-in token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. That is the only thing we store on your device, it is not used for tracking, and signing out removes it.
We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. Booking request records are retained after fulfillment for our business records and for any dispute about the reservation. Alert delivery records are kept so we do not repeat alerts and so we can measure whether the service is useful. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information except where we are required to keep records.
Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you give us — and the most sensitive data in this industry, your card number, is never in our systems at all.
You can change or delete your alert rules at any time in settings, cancel a pending booking request from your requests page, and update your name and phone number on your account. To request a copy of your data or its deletion, email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
SuiteSearcher is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, other than the guest names and dates of birth an adult provides in order to book travel for their own party.
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and make a reasonable effort to let you know before the change takes effect.
